Residential Architectural PhotographySydney architectural photographer photographs residential property on Sydney Harbour “The dialogue between client and architect is about as intimate as any conversation you can have, because when you're talking about building a house, you're talking about dreams.” Robert A. M. Stern (Architect)
I am a passionate architectural Master Photographer and Mr Stern’s words convey the way I approach all of my residential architecture photography shoots. I love being able to capture the essence of a home, regardless of whether I am photographing for an architect, builder, interior designer, home owner or property developer. Over the years I have photographed a wide range of architectural styles but photographing homes, I believe, requires not only technical skills but also an appreciation of the special features of each home. I have photographed standalone homes, through to large mansions and high rise dwellings and I give the same care and attention to each.
Pre-shoot planning is a priority. I take as much time as possible to get a full briefing from my client about the property and use specialist software to determine the best times of day to get the best interior and exterior photographs. I also provide my clients with some suggestions on preparing their homes prior to the photography shoot so that I can capture the home at its best.
Working with my wife Sue, we then treat each of our client’s chosen images with selective attention in post-production to create images that highlight the most important elements.
With many years’ experience as a residential architectural photographer, combining technical skills with a keen eye for detail and a lifelong love of all styles of architecture, we welcome the opportunity to talk to you about your residential property and help you turn your dreams into beautiful images.
